This BCAM, we would like to extend our many thanks to Congressman Jared Golden, Congresswoman Chellie Pingree and Senator Angus S. King, Jr. for thinking BEYOND pink and cosponsoring H.R. 2178 and S. 1374 - the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act - a bipartisan bill to waive Medicare and SSDI waiting periods for women and men with metastatic breast cancer.
This important legislation goes a long way to ensure that women and men living with metastatic breast cancer have access to the support and medical care they need. The ongoing support of local, state and national breast cancer advocacy efforts by Maine's congressional delegation is greatly appreciated - during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond!

They raised an amazing $2,406 for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition’s Support
Service Fund in just one day! That brings the three-year total of funds raised
at the tournaments to well over $8,000! All proceeds were donated to MBCC’s Support Service Fund and will help Maine residents
with unmet breast cancer or breast health related needs.
All of us at Maine Breast Cancer Coalition are grateful to the owners of DND Disc Golf and all those who took part in the fundraiser!
For the sixth consecutive year, Darlene and John Gleba held the annual Gleba Open Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition’s Support Service Fund. Many thanks to the Glebas for their generosity! Thank you also to all the union carpenters who came from out of state to help raise the money. This year's tournament raised $5,651! This donation will go a long way in helping qualified Support Service Fund applicants in need. All of us at MBCC are so grateful for the long-term, generous support!
