The students took part in a one-mile walk/run and collected pledges totaling $852.39! The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition volunteers who accepted the check were so impressed with these young people who raised such a big donation for our Support Service Fund. We heard from their teachers that the students had put in a lot of practice on the one-mile course and worked hard collecting pledges.
Thank you also to the fourth and fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Legere, Mr. Quigley, Mrs. Seamans, and Mrs. Stanhope.
