"Paws For the Cause" Raises $8,500 for MBCC!

February 4, 2020

The Medomak Valley High School Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Medomak Valley All Sports Boosters, held their Third Annual “Paws for the Cause” basketball game to benefit the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition on January 17, 2020 at Medomak Valley High School, when the Medomak Valley Panthers played host to the Oceanside Mariners.

The event raised an amazing $8,500 for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition's Support Service Fund, bringing the three-year total raised to $22,500!

Maine Breast Cancer Coalition representatives attended the check presentation and were so pleased to be able to personally thank many of the people involved in the fundraising effort. All of us at Maine Breast Cancer Coalition want to thank the Athletic Department, the All Sports Boosters, all the student athletes, their parents, coaches, the booster organizers and all the other volunteers and donors for their generosity!
