The donation was announced at a dinner during the Maine Fraternal Order of Eagles State Convention in Brewer, on June 9, 2018. All of us at MBCC are so grateful to the members of the New Gloucester Eagles, who work hard to raise funds for MBCC every year. Two of our volunteers attended the dinner and were so pleased to meet many of the New Gloucester Eagles members.
We would also like to thank Mark Cable, head of fundraising for Twist and Shoot, who was not present for the photo.

Hope to see you there!
This BCAM, we would like to extend our many thanks to Congressman Jared Golden, Congresswoman Chellie Pingree and Senator Angus S. King, Jr. for thinking BEYOND pink and cosponsoring H.R. 2178 and S. 1374 - the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act - a bipartisan bill to waive Medicare and SSDI waiting periods for women and men with metastatic breast cancer.
This important legislation goes a long way to ensure that women and men living with metastatic breast cancer have access to the support and medical care they need. The ongoing support of local, state and national breast cancer advocacy efforts by Maine's congressional delegation is greatly appreciated - during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond!
